Major Account Manager – Defence

About the role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Major Account Manager focused on Defence customers. You will partner with large enterprises to protect their digital environments by guiding them through complex, multi‑year cybersecurity transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and orchestrate large, complex sales cycles from prospecting to close.
• Own a portfolio of strategic accounts within large enterprises, emphasizing long‑term transformation initiatives.
• Lead multi‑threaded sales motions involving C‑suite executives, business unit leaders, and technical stakeholders.
• Identify business challenges through consultative selling and propose tailored Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Maintain deep awareness of the competitive landscape and customer needs to position the full portfolio effectively.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior sales professional managing enterprise‑level accounts.
• Strong track record of generating revenue and driving growth in the cybersecurity or technology sector.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior executives.
