Management Accountant

About the role

Gateworth is supporting an international group client seeking a Management Accountant to be based in Dubai. Reporting to the International Finance Manager, you will own the full accounting cycle across multiple subsidiaries and act as the central liaison for senior stakeholders, auditors and banking partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day ledgers for several entities, including invoicing, credit notes, purchase invoice processing, supplier set‑up, bank transfers, reconciliations, expense claims and salary payments.
• Deliver month‑end close activities such as accruals, pre‑payments, fixed‑asset depreciation, petty‑cash and AP/AR reconciliations while ensuring an accurate general ledger.
• Support year‑end audit processes, liaise with auditors and local accountants, and review quarterly VAT/GST returns for each entity.
• Prepare analytical cost‑code reporting, assist with budget preparation and perform variance analysis.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 3‑5 years of management accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, financial controls and tax/regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and month‑/year‑end closing.
