About the role

The Marine Educator engages guests at The Lost World Aquarium, sharing knowledge about marine life, conservation, and aquarium theming in an enthusiastic and professional manner.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with guests, delivering formal and informal conservation education programs to groups of any size.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to animal welfare practices.
• Conduct research and present information to enhance product knowledge.
• Gather guest feedback through surveys to promote ocean‑saving messages.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and perform additional duties as requested by management.

Required profile

• Engaging personality with strong public‑speaking and guest‑service skills.
• Outgoing, positive attitude, self‑driven and motivated.
• Ability to learn and retain marine‑life and conservation knowledge.
• Hospitality, biology, teaching degree or equivalent is desirable.
• Basic computer literacy and fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
