About the role
As a Master Technician for BYD within Al‑Futtaim Electric Mobility, you will lead the diagnosis and repair of complex electric‑vehicle issues, ensuring first‑time fix quality and supporting workshop efficiency in Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose complex mechanical and automotive faults and complete accurate repairs.
- Guide technicians on diagnostic methods, repair procedures and tool usage.
- Communicate completed and required work clearly to service advisors, supervisors and customers.
- Identify training needs, share technical knowledge and recommend improvements to workshop processes and equipment.
- Support spare‑parts colleagues with precise parts identification and contribute to overall workshop productivity.
Required profile
- Trade certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- Five to seven years of experience in a reputable automotive workshop in a similar role.
Required skills
- Advanced vehicle diagnostic capabilities.
- Technical repair procedures for electric and conventional vehicles.
- Spare‑parts identification and selection.
