Mechanical & Electrical Engineer – High Rise Buildings

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of high‑rise building projects in Dubai. The role involves coordinating MEP disciplines, ensuring design compliance and supporting construction execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works with architectural, structural and civil teams.
• Review and approve MEP shop drawings, builders’ work drawings and coordination drawings.
• Identify and resolve clashes using BIM models (Navisworks/Revit preferred).
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and the main contractor to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor site progress, verify installation quality and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Prepare and follow‑up on coordination meetings, progress reports and technical issues.
• Support material submittals, shop drawing submissions, RFIs and technical clarifications.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and authority inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of MEP coordination experience on mid‑rise or high‑rise projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire‑fighting, electrical and ELV systems.
• Familiarity with UAE local authority requirements (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and ability to work under pressure.
