Medical Advisor – Vaccines (Gulf Region)

About the role

The Medical Advisor for Vaccines will be responsible for developing and executing the medical affairs strategy for the Gulf region. Working closely with global teams, the role translates worldwide goals into local actions, builds scientific relationships, and supports clinical research to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the country medical affairs plan for vaccines.
• Translate global medical goals into tactical, non‑promotional scientific exchange activities.
• Engage with external scientific leaders, societies, and health organisations to foster peer‑to‑peer collaboration.
• Lead Group Input Meetings, consolidate medical insights, and inform company strategy.
• Design and deliver scientific educational activities that position the company as a partner.
• Support global and local clinical research, including site identification and investigator engagement.
• Provide medical training to commercial, access, sales, and regulatory teams.
• Ensure timely adverse event reporting and assist pharmacovigilance activities.

Required profile

• Physician or pharmacist degree.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Medical Affairs experience highly preferred; vaccine therapeutic experience a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
