Medical Practitioner – Oral & Maxillofacial (OMF)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate physician to deliver primary care to patients with injuries and common illnesses, focusing on oral and maxillofacial health.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take medical histories and address concerns.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses and disorders.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests and explain results.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventative health and lifestyle changes.
• Update patient charts with current findings and treatments.
• Design and recommend treatment plans, prescribe medications or therapies.
• Explain medical procedures to patients and consult with other physicians.
• Refer patients to specialists and collaborate with nurses, assistants and other staff.
• Ensure compliance with medical laws such as HIPAA.

Required profile

• Medical degree with successful completion of residency and internship.
• State license and certification to practice medicine.
• Knowledge and experience diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented, patient‑focused with patience and compassion.
• Willingness to stay current on advancements in the field.
