Merchandiser

About the role

The Merchandiser will monitor sales performance, manage stock availability and coordinate with suppliers and distributors to minimise revenue loss. This role also gathers market feedback and ensures optimal product presentation across all display areas.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor sales, identify losses or stock wastage, and manage order processing and delivery communication.
• Collect and consolidate market/customer feedback for timely reporting to management.
• Arrange and manage stock display and rotation to optimise space utilisation and maximise product visibility.
• Assess effectiveness of product displays and store layouts, driving continuous improvement in customer engagement.
• Review competitor brand presence, pricing and promotional activity to protect market share.
• Maintain invoices, Local Purchase Orders and delivery orders in line with company guidelines.
• Manage vehicle logs and ensure proper care and maintenance of company vehicles.

Required profile

• High School Diploma with relevant merchandising experience (B2B food or retail).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in UAE as a retail Merchandiser.
• Valid UAE driving licence and access to a car.
• Experience in the fruit & vegetable category is an advantage.
