About the role
The Merchandiser will execute in‑store merchandising activities to ensure product availability, visibility and compliance with planograms, supporting sales objectives across assigned outlets.
Key responsibilities
- Execute daily merchandising plans, support promotions, price changes and POSM implementation.
- Maintain adequate stock levels, shelf displays, product facings, pricing labels and brand visibility.
- Follow planograms accurately, ensure FIFO, and report near‑expiry or damaged products.
- Build relationships with store staff, monitor competitor activity and provide field insights.
- Complete daily merchandising reports and adhere to company policies and safety standards.
Required profile
- High school certificate or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of merchandising experience, preferably in FMCG.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently across multiple outlets.
- Physical ability to handle product lifting and frequent movement.
Required skills
- Knowledge of merchandising standards and retail operations.
- Basic product and stock management understanding.
