MFL Teacher (Spanish & French) – Jan 2027 start

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher to deliver Spanish and French instruction across its Abu Dhabi schools, starting in January 2027. The role focuses on creating an engaging, play‑based learning environment that supports academic, social and personal development of students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inspiring lessons in Spanish and French, aligning with curriculum requirements.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to design engaging, inclusive learning experiences.
• Assess student progress using Target Tracker and use data to inform planning and interventions.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers, providing feedback through conferences and CPOMS system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is an additional language.
• Commitment to child welfare, professionalism and respect for a diverse school community.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Target Tracker assessment software.
• Experience using CPOMS for parent communication and safeguarding.
