Multi Skilled Technician

About the role

The Multi‑Skilled Technician supports daily engineering operations at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, ensuring hotel facilities are safe, reliable and maintained to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and painting services.
• Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests, attend equipment breakdowns and emergencies, and escalate major issues.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance in guestrooms, public areas, back‑of‑house spaces and engineering plant rooms.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, equipment issues and repairs while following safety and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or relevant qualification in engineering or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in a similar multi‑skilled technician or engineering role within a luxury hotel environment.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail.
