Music Teacher (Academic Year 2027/2028)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Music Teacher to join its growing network of schools at the start of the 2027/2028 academic year. The role involves inspiring, engaging and challenging students through a nurturing, play‑based learning environment while delivering high‑quality, inclusive teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring music lessons that cater to the full ability range of the class.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to plan engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student wellbeing and academic progress.
• Maintain classroom resources, displays and a positive learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teacher qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Passion for teaching the whole child and recent involvement in extracurricular activities.

Required skills

• Target Tracker – assessment and data management system.
• CPOMS – child protection and wellbeing monitoring system.
