National Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced National Tax Manager to lead tax activities across the UAE, Oman, and Qatar. You will ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations while shaping tax strategy for the region.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR and other statutory returns across the cluster.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of GCC tax legislation and monitor global tax developments.
• Support continuous improvement of tax processes, controls and compliance frameworks.
• Provide tax guidance to business stakeholders and conduct tax impact analyses for budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead and coordinate tax audits, reviews and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Oversee tax‑related accounting activities, including provisions, journal entries and reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Solid experience in corporate and indirect taxation within the GCC region (minimum 5 years).
• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT regulations and tax requirements in Oman and Qatar.
• Experience managing tax audits and interacting with tax authorities.
• Fluency in English; additional regional language skills are a plus.
