Night Auditor (Hotel)

About the role

As a Night Auditor you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s financial transactions during the overnight shift while delivering high‑quality service to guests. You will work closely with the front‑desk team to ensure accurate accounting, smooth check‑ins and check‑outs, and a safe environment throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct night audits of the hotel’s financial activities, including room revenue, food and beverage sales, and other income sources.
• Verify and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Handle guest check‑ins and check‑outs during the night shift, providing exceptional service.
• Generate and distribute night audit reports covering revenue, occupancy and financial performance.
• Assist the front‑desk team with reservations, phone calls and guest requests.
• Manage cash transactions, reconcile cash drawers and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits related to night audit processes.
• Respond to emergency situations, maintain a safe and secure environment and communicate incidents to the head of finance.
