Office Engineer – UAE National (Fresh Graduate)

About the role

Waagner Biro Bridge Services is seeking a motivated UAE national fresh graduate to join the Etihad Rail Project in Dubai as an Office Engineer. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on exposure to documentation, coordination and reporting activities within a flagship infrastructure programme.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and submitting technical documents, reports and correspondence.
• Maintain and track project documentation, including drawings, method statements, RFIs and submittals.
• Coordinate daily progress updates with site engineers and planning teams.
• Support the preparation of progress reports and meeting minutes.
• Monitor document control logs, ensuring proper filing and version control.
• Help with material submittals and follow‑up approvals with consultants or clients.
• Assist cost tracking and quantity take‑offs under supervision.
• Facilitate internal coordination between engineering, procurement and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures and Etihad Rail documentation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• UAE national (mandatory Emiratization role).
• Fresh graduate or up to one year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and project documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (advantageous).
