Officer, Trade Operations – FTC Exports

About the role

The Officer, Trade Operations – FTC Exports will support the bank’s trade finance activities by processing transactions, handling customer interactions at the trade counter, and ensuring compliance with internal policies. The role requires accurate document management, prompt resolution of customer issues, and the ability to work efficiently under high‑volume conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Process trade finance transactions for various business segments and ensure accurate data entry of customer documents.
• Manage front‑office trade operations, including document collection, scanning, indexing, and uploading into the electronic document management system.
• Handle trade counter queries, maintain tracking records for dispatched/received documents, and provide timely operational support.
• Review and act on customer complaints, escalating issues when necessary to maintain high service standards.
• Participate in team huddles, adhere to SOP/OPM/ADM updates, and support ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the Team Head.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Hands‑on experience with trade desk or FTC counter operations and customer support.
