Oncology Therapy Specialist

About the role

The Oncology Therapy Specialist will work from Abbott's UAE office within the Established Pharmaceuticals division, focusing on driving growth of Abbott's oncology portfolio across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory business plans to meet sales and market share targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists and key stakeholders in cancer centers and hospitals.
• Conduct scientific discussions and product presentations to support appropriate product utilization.
• Identify patient access barriers and collaborate cross‑functionally to develop solutions.
• Analyze territory performance, customer insights, competitor activities and market trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 4‑6 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in oncology or biosimilars.
• Experience managing hospital and institutional accounts and working with multidisciplinary oncology teams.
• Strong clinical and scientific acumen with the ability to interpret scientific data and treatment pathways.
