Operations Assistant

About the role

The Operations Assistant supports daily production activities at Emirates Flight Catering, ensuring smooth coordination across multiple departments and adherence to food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules, safety practices and communication with internal teams to meet targets and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate HACCP records, manage waste, label verification and implement improvements to reduce errors.
• Assist with ERP data management, generate reports, upload recipes and record supplier deliveries in real time.
• Update the master production schedule, prioritize meal lists and support capacity analysis for equipment and material requirements.
• Design and manage product labels, maintain specification documentation and support senior chefs during presentations.
• Prepare meals for sensory evaluation, maintain gold‑standard stock and organise sensory records.
• Provide administrative support including employee records, Coupa requests, invoicing and reporting.
• Participate in engineering meetings, conduct risk assessments and perform basic equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality or food‑related industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional administration or hospitality certification preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate personal accountability.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems and basic Coupa usage.
