About the role
The Operations Assistant supports the Operations Control Centre by monitoring live operational activity, maintaining accurate records, and managing extra staff to ensure flights are fully manned and on‑time.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor real‑time flight, resource and task data, identify emerging issues, communicate updates and escalate when needed.
- Maintain accurate, auditable records of trips, uplifts, allocations, staff deployments, delays and incidents.
- Track extra staff on shift, allocate them to cover shortfalls and reposition teams for high‑demand flights.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of operations experience in airline, ground handling or catering.
- Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork and accountability.
Required skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
