Operations Coordinator – Middle East & Africa

About the role

Ava Global is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage secure logistics across the Middle East and Africa. You will oversee the end‑to‑end transportation of high‑value assets, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations while delivering exceptional service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Apply company policies and procedures in daily operations, supporting the General Manager.
• Execute import and export activities in line with compliance standards.
• Monitor security of shipments from pick‑up to delivery.
• Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, emergencies, and client concerns.
• Provide proactive customer service and act as a brand ambassador.
• Obtain and negotiate vendor quotations, update rates, and support the sales team.
• Coordinate with finance for accurate invoicing, accounts payable verification, and vendor payments.
• Prepare weekly operational reports and flag service issues.
• Maintain and update the vendor cost database, highlighting margin impacts.
• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Execute special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum A‑Level education; graduate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain in a similar role.
