Operations Manager – Financial Services & Digital Assets

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day operational activities for a financial services firm that offers international payments, digital asset and cryptocurrency services, and trade finance. The role is hands‑on and requires close coordination with finance, compliance, client services and external partners to ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operational workflows, including payment instructions, settlements, transfers and related documentation.
• Oversee client onboarding, ensuring all required documentation and operational checks are completed.
• Collaborate with Compliance on KYC, AML, and transaction approvals.
• Work with Finance on reconciliations, payment confirmations, fee processing and operational reporting.
• Liaise with payment providers, banks, digital‑asset platforms and custodians.
• Monitor pending transactions, client requests and operational exceptions through to resolution.
• Maintain accurate client files, transaction records and operational procedures.
• Develop and update workflows, checklists and internal controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role within financial services.
• Comfortable working in a lean, hands‑on environment with strong ownership and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate across finance, compliance, management and external service providers.
