About the role
The Operations Quality Assurance Specialist will ensure that all materials used in projects meet purchase order specifications, quality standards and client requirements. This role involves managing inspection documentation, coordinating with contractors and maintaining accurate records.
Key responsibilities
- Verify materials against purchase orders, packing lists and specifications.
- Review Material Test Certificates, Inspection Release Notes and other compliance documents.
- Prepare and submit RFIs for approval and ensure approvals before material release.
- Monitor storage conditions, preservation procedures and maintain logs.
- Maintain accurate records of RFIs, inspection reports and OSD reports.
- Upload and manage inspection documents in the designated material management system.
- Coordinate inspections with client’s QC team and obtain approvals before dispatch.
- Follow client engineering specifications, project quality plans and ISO 9001 standards.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2‑4 years of experience in material inspection, QA/QC, warehouse quality control or materials coordination within oil & gas or EPCM projects.
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
Required skills
- Material inspection and QA/QC processes.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and project quality plans.
- Use of material management systems (e.g., SPMMS).
