Operator SCE – Plant Operations

About the role

The Operator SCE is responsible for operating and monitoring process plant and facilities in the assigned area, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out operational work safely, perform routine equipment checks, and report defects.
• Adjust and monitor speeds, temperatures, pressures and flow rates during start‑up and shutdown.
• Receive chemicals, maintain stock registers and prepare chemical batches following HSE procedures.
• Obtain work permits, supervise contractor activities and act as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer when required.
• Prepare KPI checklists and contribute to progress reports for management.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of plant operations experience in a large oil‑and‑gas industrial plant.
• Ability to work in A/C environments and occasional exposure to heat, humidity and dust.
