Optometrist – Full‑time Clinical & Sales Role

About the role

The Optometrist is responsible for conducting eye examinations, providing professional vision and contact lens solutions, and delivering excellent customer service. The role also supports optical sales, customer retention, and day‑to‑day store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct eye examinations and vision assessments, diagnose common vision problems, prescribe corrective lenses and fit contact lenses while maintaining accurate patient records.
• Provide personalized customer service, recommend suitable optical and contact lens products, follow up with customers after examinations, and support sales and customer retention.
• Monitor contact lens stock, manage expiry dates, place orders, and oversee maintenance of optometry equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or recognized qualification in Optometry.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Valid Optometrist license or eligibility letter from MOH, DHA, or DOH.
• Strong clinical, communication and customer service abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts.
