Order Desk Executive – End-to-End Order Management

About the role

The Order Desk Executive ensures customer satisfaction by managing the complete order lifecycle, from quotation to delivery and invoicing. Acting as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, the role guarantees accurate, timely processing and proactive communication.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer quotations in line with pricing and commercial policies.
• Enter and validate customer orders in SAP, checking POs, pricing, quantities and delivery terms.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end order processing, including release, delivery, invoicing and order closure.
• Monitor order availability, back‑orders and delivery dates, working with plants, warehouses, demand planning and logistics to meet customer requirements.
• Communicate potential supply risks early and propose alternatives to customers and sales teams.
• Ensure commercial and financial conditions such as credit limits, payment terms, pre‑payments and LCs are satisfied before order release.
• Maintain continuous communication with customers and sales on order status, availability and delivery commitments.
• Support monthly sales closing by tracking order releases, deliveries and invoicing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 5–7 years of experience in order management, customer service, supply chain or sales operations.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage, especially for KSA/GLP customers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP ERP for order entry and processing.
• Experience using other ERP systems for order management.
