Organizational Development Specialist

About the role

Air Arabia is looking for an Organizational Development Specialist in Sharjah, UAE. The role supports the design, delivery and implementation of organizational development and HR initiatives across all hubs and subsidiaries, ensuring they are standardized and aligned with business goals. It also contributes to policy development, capability building, talent and leadership development, and performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the line manager to recommend and run structured change management initiatives that standardize HR practice across hubs and subsidiaries.
• Help build OD frameworks, policies and tools for enterprise-wide capability building, leadership and high-potential development, and long-term talent planning.
• Engage with the HR team to strengthen and enforce HR policies and procedures across the group and advise line managers.
• Introduce the Performance Management System and assessments into the new joiner orientation, and help implement and improve it across all airline hubs, using performance data to promote consistent evaluation and continuous feedback.
• Support hubs in the performance management process and maintain systems for job creation, job evaluation, organizational structure design and organizational change.
• Keep the job description library up to date with business restructuring and changes.
• Partner with line managers on career path mapping and development plans, and collaborate on succession planning and talent development.
• Design and deliver workshops and training on organizational development and HR topics, and carry out HR system tasks and take part in HR and organization-wide projects.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree in HR, human sciences, management or an equivalent recognized qualification; MBA or CIPD qualification and HR professional certifications are an advantage.
• 4+ years as an organizational development specialist with similar responsibilities, preferably in aviation or hospitality, and overall 8+ years in human resources.
• In-depth knowledge of HR functions and their processes is a prerequisite.
• Experience implementing performance management across levels and functions and analyzing performance-related data.
