Outreach and Engagement Manager – Dubai Campus

About the role

The Outreach and Engagement Manager will lead the promotion of HCT within the local community, aligning campus activities with community needs and driving alumni relations. This role works closely with Central Services and external stakeholders to enhance HCT’s visibility and create employment pathways for graduates.

Key responsibilities

• Implement campus Outreach and Engagement strategic objectives and initiatives.
• Develop and monitor policies, procedures and processes for the function.
• Maintain strong communication with Partnership Central Services and community stakeholders such as business associations, governmental entities, NGOs and social organisations.
• Identify and lead opportunities to promote HCT through events, marketing, alumni networks and community engagement.
• Align campus programmes with community trends and advise management on improvement opportunities.
• Oversee the Outreach and Engagement database covering industry liaison, alumni affairs, events and marketing.
• Network with local community members to identify employment opportunities for graduates.
• Represent HCT at local conferences and events.
• Negotiate with advertising, marketing and event agencies within budget and guidelines.
• Manage local media involvement in coordination with Communications Central Services.
• Establish and integrate a local alumni network with the broader HCT alumni system.
• Develop alumni programmes to engage alumni in campus activities and professional development.
• Support academic operations by identifying potential employers and placement opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in outreach, community engagement or alumni relations.
• Strong communication and networking abilities with public and private sector stakeholders.
• Leadership skills to guide teams and manage cross‑functional projects.
• Ability to analyse community and labour market trends.
• Experience negotiating with external agencies and managing event budgets.
