Part-Time Receptionist (Emiratized Role)

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is hiring a part-time receptionist for its Business School, supporting the Learning Team and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, clients and staff. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and is an Emiratized position.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and receive all visitors and clients, and act as the first point of contact for external and internal parties.
• Use multilingual skills to liaise with other FAB departments inside and outside the UAE.
• Handle initial client leads, information requests and complaints.
• Answer visitor inquiries about FAB Business School, direct visitors, sort mail, answer calls on multi-line phones, set appointments, file, keep records, type data and perform other office tasks such as faxing or emailing.
• Keep the lobby tidy and may assist with access control: verifying IDs, issuing visitor passes and reporting suspicious activity.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and follow FAB policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to work within a team and build professional relationships.
• Good administration skills and knowledge of locations within the UAE.
• Strong character, good manners and discretion; able to handle difficult people without aggression.
• Presentable, self-motivated and able to cope with a busy, multitasking environment.
• Preferred: a university degree in business, languages, economics or marketing.
