Planning Engineer - Interior Fit-Out

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Planning Engineer for an interior fit-out company based in the UAE. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of proven experience in project planning within the interior fit-out industry and can manage timelines, coordinate with project teams and keep several concurrent projects on track.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, manage and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor daily and weekly progress and prepare status reports on risks, delays or deviations.
• Plan resources, materials and manpower in line with project deadlines.
• Review project drawings and BOQs so planning matches site requirements.
• Track variations and update schedules accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality standards and client requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-4 years of UAE experience in project planning within interior fit-out.
• Good knowledge of construction workflow, material sequencing and resource allocation.
• Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure; immediate availability is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong command of Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel.
