Plumber – Maintenance Technician

About the role

W Hotels is seeking a reliable Plumber to join its engineering and facilities team in Dubai. The role focuses on routine maintenance of property vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation across the hotel campus.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor routine maintenance on engineering trucks, shuttle vans, and electric carts, including oil, fluid, and tire checks.
• Charge batteries, replace spark plugs, and conduct basic electrical inspections.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, cleaning and lubricating as required.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of parts and supplies, requisitioning items when needed.
• Log daily operations, maintenance activities, safety checks, and equipment malfunctions.
• Follow all company safety, security, and environmental policies, reporting hazards or incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational education background.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on maintenance or plumbing experience.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
