About the role

The Pool and Beach Attendant ensures guests enjoy safe and relaxing recreation experiences at the hotel’s pool and beach facilities. This role promotes a fun atmosphere, provides information, and maintains equipment and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a fun, relaxing atmosphere and provide information on facilities and activities.
• Enforce rules and safety regulations, responding to emergencies per procedures.
• Monitor guests for safety, alert supervisors when needed, and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment, supplies, and facilities.
• Process payments for rentals, activities, and retail sales using point‑of‑sale systems.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and ensure professional appearance.
• Maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and uphold company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification (required).
• No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
