About the role

The Public Health Research Center at NYU Abu Dhabi seeks a Post‑Doctoral Associate to lead large‑scale population genomic analyses for the UAE Healthy Future Study, a cohort of 15,000 Emirati nationals.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and execute whole‑genome sequencing and multi‑omics analyses on high‑performance computing infrastructure.
  • Investigate the genetic architecture of complex traits and contribute to interdisciplinary research projects.

Required profile

  • PhD in human genetics, genetic epidemiology, biostatistics, computational biology or a related field.
  • Within five years of PhD completion with a strong publication record in large‑scale genomics.

Required skills

  • Experience with whole‑genome sequencing data.
  • Proficiency in multi‑omics data integration.
  • Ability to work in high‑performance computing (HPC) environments.
