PR Manager - Beauty

About the role

Faux Consultancy, founded in 2011, is the Middle East's leading PR and events consultancy, based in Dubai and active across the GCC, with client divisions focused on Fashion and Beauty. The Beauty PR Manager is a central role in the PR team, reporting directly to the Account Director of the Beauty Department. The manager implements and maintains PR management for Faux's clients, covering PR strategy, client management, media, influencers and social media engagement, and leads the PR team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a dynamic team of PR professionals and monitor their quality of work
• Develop and execute PR and communications strategies to grow brand awareness
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients and build long-lasting relationships with key media and influencers
• Drive the achievement and exceeding of KPIs set by clients and internal standards
• Plan and run client and agency events, coordinating internal staff and external suppliers
• Oversee client budgets for paid commercial activities and events, working with the Accounts Department
• Take part in strategy discussions and share insights on PR and media trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in public relations, communications or a related field
• At least 5 years of PR experience, specifically in the Beauty industry
• At least 1 year in a similar role or 3 years as a Senior PR Executive in Beauty
• Strong regional network across the GCC with media, influencers, stylists and celebrities
• Proven leadership and proven success in securing high-value coverage
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally on an ad-hoc basis
