About the role
The Practical Nurse will provide age‑appropriate patient care in the Medicine Clinic, supporting the Registered Nurse and adhering to the organization’s mission, vision and professional standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including meals and hygiene.
- Monitor and report patient observations, changes in condition and medication side‑effects.
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in infection control, risk management and quality assurance activities.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience after graduation in a relevant setting.
- Understanding of the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi.
- Ability to work under supervision, follow policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of medication indications and side‑effects.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and information technology safely.
