Pre‑Sales Manager (BESS)

About the role

We are looking for a Pre‑Sales Manager to lead technical engagements for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the MEA region. You will work closely with sales, engineering and product teams to design, size and propose utility‑scale and commercial storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and pre‑sales teams to support customer engagements and business development.
• Develop system sizing, preliminary designs and solution configurations for BESS projects.
• Prepare technical proposals, system architectures, specifications and other customer‑facing documentation.
• Participate in RFIs, RFQs, RFP responses, technical clarifications and bid submissions.
• Coordinate with product management, engineering, delivery, service and supply‑chain to ensure feasibility and competitiveness.
• Support project technical reviews, optimisation and risk assessments throughout the sales cycle.
• Gather market intelligence, competitor insights and customer feedback for product improvement.
• Travel across MEA countries to attend customer meetings and project discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in BESS, renewable energy, power systems or related industries.
• Proven experience preparing technical proposals and supporting tender activities.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
