Private Markets Technology & Automation Associate

About the role

This position sits within a high‑performing private capital investment team, partnering with investment professionals across private equity, venture capital, private credit and real assets. You will drive workflow improvements, data management and AI‑enabled decision‑making for the firm’s private markets activities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse private‑markets workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation and scalability.
• Design and develop technology solutions that support portfolio monitoring, reporting, pipeline management and investment operations.
• Leverage AI, prompt‑engineering and workflow‑automation tools to enhance research, analysis and decision‑making.
• Build dashboards, applications and analytics solutions that deliver actionable insights across private‑capital portfolios.
• Evaluate, recommend and implement best‑in‑class technologies in collaboration with investment and technology teams.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of experience in private‑capital markets (private equity, venture capital, private credit, real‑estate, family offices, sovereign wealth funds or institutional platforms).
• Proven track record supporting investment teams with exposure to investment workflows, portfolio monitoring, deal processes, fund reporting or data management.

Required skills

• Strong Python development experience for building automation tools, analytics solutions and internal applications.
• Knowledge of SQL, APIs and cloud technologies (highly desirable).
• Hands‑on experience with private‑markets platforms and datasets such as DealCloud, PitchBook, Burgiss, Cambridge Associates or comparable systems.
