Procurement Engineer – Specialist (Oil & Gas EPC)

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Specialist Procurement Engineer to support a gas processing EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role will manage procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with client and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for the gas processing project.
• Prepare, issue, and evaluate tender documents and bids.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships.
• Coordinate procurement activities with engineering, construction, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC and local regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports in SAP.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in any discipline.
• PMP or other relevant certification.
• Minimum 17 years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in oil and gas EPC projects.
• Previous senior or specialist procurement engineer role on large oil and gas projects, preferably in the GCC region.
• Experience on ADNOC projects is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP procurement modules.
