Procurement Executive – Chemical Industry

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Executive to lead end‑to‑end sourcing, supplier management and strategic purchasing for our chemical, petrochemical and specialty chemicals business.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full procurement cycle: vendor sourcing, RFQs, quotation analysis, purchase order creation and order tracking.
• Validate purchase requisitions, ensure compliance with policies and audit requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, handle registration, onboarding, price negotiations and contract renewals.
• Manage supplier‑related NCRs and conduct performance evaluations and periodic appraisals.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers on sourcing initiatives and support demand‑supply planning using inventory analysis, forecasts and market trends.
• Perform quarterly inventory reviews and recommend optimal reorder levels.
• Work closely with Sales, Logistics, Finance and Business Development teams to align procurement with business needs and minimise stock shortages.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, pricing trackers and generate reports, dashboards and meeting minutes for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Petrochemicals, Industrial Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Proven procurement experience in the chemical, petrochemical, lubricants, specialty chemicals, oil & gas or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
