Procurement Officer (Part-time, Hybrid)

About the role

The Procurement Officer will oversee day‑to‑day purchasing activities for a Dubai‑based organisation, working part‑time in a hybrid setting. The role involves sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, issuing purchase orders and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contract terms and monitor delivery schedules.
• Issue, track and reconcile purchase orders with invoices and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate procurement records in the relevant systems.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and other internal stakeholders to understand requirements and support cost‑effective procurement.
• Analyse procurement data, track spending and assist with budget adherence.
• Continuously improve procurement processes and ensure compliance with UAE/GCC regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑to‑end sourcing and supplier management, preferably within professional services or consulting in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, compare quotations and drive cost optimisation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills in a hybrid work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field; procurement certifications such as CIPS are a plus.
