Procurement Specialist - Arabic Speaker

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will develop and execute procurement strategies that support Al‑Bahar’s overall business objectives. The role focuses on improving procurement efficiency, delivering cost savings, cost avoidance and effective cash management while ensuring compliance with group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Conduct market surveys, analyse trends and recommend strategic sourcing procedures.
• Manage spend categories such as logistics, insurance and travel to optimise procurement set‑up.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts and secure favourable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance, addressing delivery, quality and service issues.
• Ensure adherence to group procurement policies through regular audits and reviews.
• Identify and drive cost‑saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or supplier management.
• Fluent Arabic language skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and market research experience.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management capabilities.
