Procurement Specialist

About the role

MAK Developers LLC is looking for a Procurement Specialist to lead the end‑to‑end purchasing process for its construction and real‑estate development projects. The role focuses on sourcing materials, subcontractors and services while ensuring cost efficiency, quality compliance and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle – sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, purchasing and delivery coordination.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable suppliers, subcontractors and service providers for construction and real‑estate projects.
• Obtain and analyse quotations, conduct commercial evaluations and negotiate pricing, payment terms and contracts.
• Prepare, review and manage Purchase Orders, procurement contracts and related documentation.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, finance and site teams to align procurement activities with schedules and operational needs.
• Monitor material requirements, inventory levels and procurement plans to prevent shortages and delays.
• Track supplier performance, delivery schedules and quality standards to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations and industry best practices.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost‑analysis and vendor performance evaluations for management.
• Resolve supplier‑related issues such as delivery delays, quality concerns and payment discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in a contracting, construction, real‑estate development or building‑materials environment.
• Proven experience procuring construction materials, MEP items, finishing materials and subcontractor packages.
• Strong contract negotiation and commercial evaluation skills.
• Excellent analytical ability for cost analysis, budgeting support and inventory management.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, supply‑chain management and industry best practices.
