Product Manager – Flight Ops & Crew Management Systems

About the role

Etihad is seeking a Product Manager to lead and continuously improve technology products within the Flight Operations and Crew Management domain. You will act as the bridge between complex airline operational needs and technical execution, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives from concept to live deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Own planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of technology projects for flight planning, weight & balance, fuel optimisation, crew pairing, rostering, tracking and fatigue management.
• Translate operational requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with architects, developers and third‑party vendors.
• Manage scope, dependencies, risks and roadblocks to keep projects on time, on budget and operationally continuous.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, cybersecurity policies and aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, GCAA).
• Serve as primary liaison between DevOps, Data Engineering, Network Security and operational stakeholders.
• Prepare change records, release plans and deployment readiness assessments for Change Advisory Board meetings.
• Support change, incident and release management using ITSM and ITIL best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the airline or aviation industry.
• Strong knowledge of Flight Operations and Crew Management systems.
• Experience working within IT governance, change management and regulatory environments.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
