Production Operator – Quality & Line Management

About the role

The Operator will support the Quality Inspector and ensure product specifications are met on the production line. The role involves maintaining line cleanliness, handling raw materials, and reporting daily output to the Production Team Leader. The operator works on a rotating shift schedule, collaborating closely with the Lead Operator, Line Setter, and HSE officer to ensure smooth production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the work of the Quality Inspector and verify conformity with finished‑goods specifications.
• Maintain line cleanliness during shifts and at month‑end close.
• Complete and submit daily production reports to the Production Team Leader.
• Set up machines, perform size changes, and ensure proper handling of raw materials.
• Communicate any machine issues to the Lead Operator and Line Setter, and keep pallets, waste bins, and raw material storage organized.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and participate in HSE toolbox talks.
• Participate in occupational health and safety management system activities, including development, planning, implementation, and performance evaluation.
