Project Coordinator - UAE Area

About the role

Maersk is looking for a Project Coordinator for the UAE area, based in Dubai. The Operations Agent owns the operational execution across Ocean and Logistics, creating, coordinating and closing shipment files, and acts as the main point of contact for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute customer shipments according to the implementation plan and customer requirements, including QHSE and reporting
• Understand external factors affecting the customer's supply chain, their urgency, service needs and drivers, and propose solutions early
• Act as the primary contact for customers and ensure smooth end-to-end shipment execution, including inland delivery, with internal stakeholders
• Track shipments proactively and notify customers of deviations from the transport plan, with possible alternatives
• Onboard customers and build collaborative relationships
• Liaise with suppliers and prepare transport plans
• Handle day-to-day customer relationships, daily operational execution and daily EDI updates
• Create SOs, POs and files in operational systems and protect the interests of third-party suppliers and partners
• Ensure execution and reporting meet compliance requirements
