Project Engineer – Technical Projects Department

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join the Technical Projects Department, responsible for driving engineering projects from concept through detailed design and delivery. The role supports performance targets, continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with HSE and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to achieving departmental performance objectives aligned with the company’s performance framework.
• Design and implement new tools and techniques to enhance the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
• Identify and apply best‑practice improvements to internal processes, delivering intelligent solutions for project challenges.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards and ADNOC HSE standards.
• Prepare inputs for management information systems and progress reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum six years of multi‑disciplinary engineering experience, including preparation of Front End Engineering Design (FEED) packages.
• Strong knowledge of gas extraction and processing plant operations, production engineering principles and project management.
• Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations and HSE principles for the oil & gas industry.
• Professional project management certification such as PMP is preferred.
