Project Manager - Finance and Risk

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead finance and risk initiatives within our banking environment in Abu Dhabi. The role involves end‑to‑end delivery of complex projects, coordinating IT and business stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage one or more complex finance and risk projects from initiation to closure.
• Define project scope, business case, charter and benefits.
• Develop and maintain detailed delivery plans, prioritising tasks across stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal IT and business teams, as well as external vendors.
• Oversee project budgeting, financial tracking and cost control.
• Communicate status, risks and issues to senior stakeholders and ensure governance compliance.
• Identify, assess and proactively manage project risks and issues.

Required profile

• Experience managing banking projects; finance or risk project experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with banking or financial regulatory environments.
• Ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
