Project Procurement Manager

About the role

Vanderlande is looking for a Project Procurement Manager to act as the procurement expert during the Project Execution phase in Dubai. You will be the primary contact for procurement activities, ensuring on‑time, in‑full delivery of products and services while collaborating with engineering and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for procurement during sales and project execution, supporting sales engineering and project teams to minimise risk and cost.
• Execute procurement actions in line with the Supply Plan, manage RFx events for non‑itemised items, and trigger escalations for delays or issues.
• Advise stakeholders on specifications changes, recommend alternative suppliers, and lead negotiations to secure competitive terms.
• Update procurement information in the project Supply Plan as execution progresses.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or project execution support within technical or engineering‑focused organisations.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess project requirements, supplier performance and risk.
• Proven track record of managing supplier escalations and delivering cost‑saving negotiations.
• Ability to work independently and travel internationally up to 5% of the time.
