Promoter – European Cheese Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic promoter to champion our range of European cheeses, ensuring optimal product presentation and customer satisfaction. The role involves managing stock, conducting tastings, and building strong relationships with retail partners.

Key responsibilities

• Promotes and recommends listed products based on customer preferences and needs.
• Monitors product freshness and rotates stock using the First Expiry, First Out (FEFO) method.
• Conducts product tastings and sampling activities in accordance with food safety standards.
• Monitors stock levels and reports low inventory or damaged products to the supervisor.
• Provides product information, including taste profiles, serving suggestions, storage recommendations, and pairing ideas.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with section managers and decision makers to facilitate collaboration and achieve sales targets.
• Identifies and reports key competitive activity and price changes to help develop business plans.

Required profile

• 1-3 years experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of European cheeses.
• Cheese cutting experience.
