About the role
The Provost will partner closely with President Eric Xing to give academic form to the university’s vision, translating strategy into programs, policies and practices that enable faculty and student success as the institution expands.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement academic programs, policies and institutional practices aligned with the university’s growth strategy.
- Collaborate with the President and division deans to shape the academic enterprise, including interdisciplinary divisions and undergraduate programs.
- Lead the academic enterprise, ensuring faculty and student success while reconsidering existing approaches.
Required profile
- Scholarly standing sufficient to earn the respect of a distinguished faculty.
- Leadership experience in running a complex, fast‑moving academic organization.
- Ambition to build an institution rather than manage an established one.
