PWHT Operator – Abu Dhabi Oilfield

About the role

We are looking for an experienced PWHT Operator to join our team at an oilfield site in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for carrying out post‑weld heat treatment on pipelines and related structures, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate PWHT equipment, including electrical resistance heating systems and temperature recorders.
• Execute heat‑treatment cycles (heating, soaking, cooling) according to approved WPS and PWHT procedures.
• Install thermocouples and monitor temperature distribution throughout the treatment.
• Record and maintain accurate temperature charts and logs.
• Coordinate with welding and quality‑control teams during hold and witness points.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of PWHT experience on oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Experience in ASME or ADNOC project environments is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of welding procedures (WPS) and heat‑treatment requirements.
• Ability to read technical instructions and reports in English.
